Yard Sale Signs

Did you know that yard sales are an environmentally friendly and sustainable practice? The reuse of goods and materials saves those items from the landfill. As the weather improves, yard sale season will soon be here, and the Planning & Zoning Department would like to inform any resident who is looking to host a yard sale to please adhere to the following policy:

• While no zoning permit is required, please do not put any signs up more than 48 hours before your sale, or leave any signs up longer than 48 hours
• Do not put any signs in the public right-of-way or in sight triangles that are taller than 24 inches.
• Do not attach any signs to utility, light, or traffic poles.
